Summer is fast approaching and we have just the wine to welcome the season — our 2018 Santa Barbara County Rosé. This is our first Rosé cuvée of Rhône varietals and we are thrilled with the result!
Long co-fermented in stainless steel at cooler temperatures yielded aromatic purity, freshness and balance we know you’ll love!
The perfect pale salmon color, bright, fresh aromas, and flavors you can sink your teeth into all make our 2018 Rosé a perfect paring for brunches, picnics, pool parties, and days at the beach.
“Citrus, watermelon and rosé petal on the nose. It’s more subtle in the mouth than most cuvées made from Rhône grapes (60% Mourvèdre / 40% Grenache). Almost delicate in the mouth but pleasantly so. Red cherry and raspberry are the primary flavors with hints of darker fruits (black currant) underneath that make for a seriously complex pink wine. Quite vibrant, this is a real thirst-quencher that will allow the food on the table to really shine”. – Dennis Schaefer of the Santa Barbara News Press
