About Goleta

Just 11 miles north of Santa Barbara and 105 miles from Los Angeles, our Goleta winery and tasting room offers the perfect stop for wine lovers exploring the Central Coast. Goleta is home to UC Santa Barbara, the Santa Barbara Airport, and a thriving craft brewing scene, making it a hub for food, drink, and culture.

The area, named after a Spanish schooner (“goleta”) that sank in the nearby lagoon, is rich in history, from Native American settlements and European explorers to lemon orchards. Our tasting room is conveniently located inside the Los Carneros Business Center, between Highway 101 and Stow Park, with plenty of on-site parking. Many guests use our winery as a starting point to explore Goleta, from our neighbors Captain Fatty’s Brewery and Santa Barbara Woodfire Catering to nearby Santa Barbara County tasting rooms. Q: Do I need a reservation for tastings?
A: Reservations are recommended, especially for Elevated Wine Tastings and larger groups, but walk-ins are welcome for Current Release and Chilled Flight tastings when space allows. Book today!

A: Yes! We’re both family-friendly and dog-friendly.
