ELEVATED WINE TASTING

Our Elevated Wine Tasting goes beyond the experience you would get in our tasting room. Taking place on our VIP mezzanine with a view of the winery floor, it is a sit-down experience that delves into more specifics of our winemaking philosophies and practices.

A custom curated tasting of SAMsARA wines featuring both current and library releases. This is a bespoke experience one-on-one with a member of our winemaking team. We will give our guests an in-depth look to our winemaking ethos, production methods and explain the nuances of winemaking that contribute to the power, complexity and balance of our wines. Specifically, we will taste 6 wines (chosen with the guests’ preferences in mind) and tour our cellar.

During harvest (September – November) you will be able to see first-hand how our wines are crafted and may even be able to lend a hand in the process!

This experience is a great way to ask questions and learn about what makes Santa Barbara County wines unique.

About Goleta

Just 11 miles North of Santa Barbara and 105 miles from Los Angeles, Goleta is home to the University of California, Santa Barbara, Santa Barbara Airport, a thriving craft brewing scene, and, of course, our winery and tasting room facility. Named after a Spanish schooner, or “goleta”, that sunk in the nearby lagoon, the area was at one time the home to one of the most prosperous populations of Native Americans in California, a stopover point of European explorers, vast lemon orchards, and even Katy Perry.

With beautiful weather and mild precipitation year round, Goleta is the perfect place for wine tasting, enjoyment of outdoor seating, and relaxation any time of year.

Our location, is situated inside the Los Carneros Business Center, between Highway 101 and Stow Park.  With ample parking surrounding our tasting room, many visitors use our winery as their base of operations as they explore our wines, beers at Captain Fatty’s Brewery, and Steve’s Woodfired Pizza.  Join us for a tasting to kick things off and our expert staff will gladly offer recommendations for other tasting rooms to visit based on the wines you enjoyed most.  Need a lunch or dinner recommendation?  Our staff can help with that too!  Spend some time with us, pick our brains, and we’ll set you on your way, sure to make the most of your day!
