JUNE 25th, 4 PM PDT, 7 PM EST Facilitated by George Staikos and led by winemaker Matt Brady and Certified Sommelier Lily Hays, the masterclass will take you on a journey through the Sta. Rita Hills and adjacent AVAs to explore the most extreme, cool climate sites in the region. Matt and Lily will cover Santa Barbara County terroir and history, SAMsARA winemaking practices, site selection criteria, insights on vintage variation and why these wines are so expressive and unique. George Staikos, founder of The Educated Grape, is a 30-year veteran of the hospitality industry and is known for his role as an educator sharing his passion for wine appreciation, knowledge of the pairing of gourmet cuisine and fine wine, as well as the finer points of hospitality service.
