2020 Rosé is Here

The days are getting longer, the birds are singing and we’re just a couple of weeks away from springing forward. Change is in the air- where ever you are, it’s time to THINK PINK! The 2020 rosé is comprised of 55% Mourvèdre and 45% Grenache grapes sourced from our prized hillside block at the Shokrian Vineyard in Cat Canyon. This gorgeous fruit is farmed expressly for our rosé (we never use run-off juice from riper red fruit, as in the saignée method). The super sandy soils and colder climate of Shokrian Vineyard plus organic and biodynamic farming practices make it a standout site. If you’re unfamiliar with the name Shokrian, the vineyard was previously named “Verna’s Vineyard” and both our winemaker Matt and SAMsARA have long histories working it it. 2020 ROSÉ WINEMAKING DETAILS 100% native yeast Fermented in stainless steel tank Mourvèdre and Grenache blended and aged together

The 2020 vintage has more texture than the previous vintage. The exotic citrus and stone fruits on the palate, along with the fuller mouthfeel, make this wine a versatile and crowd-pleasing wine! Drink by the pool, with picnic fare, or whatever you dream up, you will easily go through a case this summer.
